Meet Lorena

I studied psychology at the University of Cadiz, but my first encounter with psychology was during my studies at Technician in Dietetics at 18.

Like many young people, I did not know what path to take after secondary school. I knew I wanted work that involved helping people. During my dietetics placement, I worked closely with the practice psychologist and realised what I wanted to do for a living: accompany the person at a therapeutic level .

I started my professional journey as a psychologist in the area of Alzheimer's and later I was given the opportunity to carry out therapeutic interventions in youth and adulthood That's an area I'm currently dedicated to.

Psychology has signified a reconnection with me and with what surrounds me. accompanying every person in their process That's the wish to realize what my psychologist once did for me. To guide him to her, to accompany him to understand what's going on in his life and to put some light into the dark.

I have been passionate about my work and I have tried to have my naturalness, warmth and constant training present in every process. That's why I'm currently continuing to train as Family therapist by the Institute for Systemic Training and Cooperation at Cadiz.

To be part of the recovery of an individual's emotional well-being is a great responsibility and to witness how they travel through their path is the greatest reward that this profession offers me.
